How do I meet a nice Christian woman? I need some Christian dating advice about women.

I’m not in a hurry, nor in desperate need, but I’ve tried using christian matching sites on the internet and so on, and I can’t seem to find the right girl. Attractive non-christian women show interest in me, but I never persue them because I know these relationships will not last since we don’t believe the same thing.

I’m a historian, 20′s, intellegent, good shape, the bible is my passion, and I’m looking for a woman who won’t pull me away from the Lord, but bring me closer.

Any suggestions??? don’t say internet dating.
Any christian couples out there with some good advice on how to meet other christians?

I met my husband in church…he sat down next to me and said ‘Hi’. Nothing grand, simply friendliness. We then had a few short conversations in passing, and in time he asked me out to coffee. Excellant pacing, safe situation, with much prayer and guidance involved.

Does your church have a singles ministry or a service group where you can meet people? And let me stress the word ‘PEOPLE’ because what you really want is to build friendships and relationships…not go looking for a girlfriend. You’ll be amazed how much faster the process is when you’re making friends with women (removing the romantic notions helps) and building friendships with other men (to enlarge your social network-thus meeting even more women…and also to exercise your relational skills).

Biggest piece of advice, though, is to pray!
